January – June 2026
Self study video series, plus in-person immersion
The Kanza Ambassador training program offers a comprehensive and immersive educational experience, designed to foster a deep understanding and practical understanding of yogic principles. Our unified learning approach seamlessly integrates self-study with classroom-based learning methods, ensuring an enriching journey for every student.
This innovative program is built upon a three-fold teaching approach incorporating diverse learning styles to maximize comprehension and retention. We recognize that individuals learn in different ways, and by addressing these varied modalities, we ensure that every attendee gains a profound grasp of the subject matter:
- Visual Learning (Sight): Through engaging presentations, detailed diagrams, illustrative videos, and comprehensive written materials, students are provided with clear visual aids that illuminate complex concepts. This aspect of the program is crucial for understanding anatomical structures, the nuances of posture alignment, and the visual tapestry of yogic history and philosophy.
- Auditory Learning (Hearing): Our classroom sessions are rich with interactive discussions and insightful lectures from experienced instructors This is designed to appeal to auditory learners to convey philosophical insights, explain the intricacies of teaching methodology, and facilitate a deeper connection with the core principles of yoga.
- Kinesthetic Learning (Physical Experience): Recognizing that yoga is an embodied practice, the program places significant emphasis on kinesthetic learning. Through practical teaching exercises and the consistent practice of asana, students physically experience and integrate the teachings. This practical application solidifies knowledge, builds confidence, and cultivates the wisdom essential for effective teaching.
This integrated approach is crafted to ensure attendees’ thorough comprehension across all critical domains of study:
- Yoga: A deep dive into the essence and origins of yoga, exploring its diverse lineages and evolving practices.
- History: An exploration of the rich historical tapestry of yoga, tracing its philosophical roots and cultural evolution.
- Philosophy: Unpacking the philosophical tenets that underpin yogic thought, including key texts and ethical frameworks.
- Anatomy: A study of human anatomy and physiology, specifically as it relates to yoga postures and movement, ensuring safe and effective instruction.
- Asana: Comprehensive instruction on a wide range of yoga postures, focusing on proper alignment, modifications, and sequencing.
- Meditation: Practical guidance and experiential learning in various meditation techniques, fostering mindfulness and mental clarity.
- Teaching Skills: Extensive training in effective communication, demonstration, sequencing, cueing, and classroom management, preparing students to confidently lead their own classes.
We wholeheartedly believe that by embracing this multi-faceted learning experience, you will not only deepen your personal practice but also gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to effectively guide others towards a yogic way of life. Embrace this unparalleled opportunity to learn, grow, and become a transformative leader in the world of yoga.

Kanza Yoga Graduate Testimonial: “I love everything about 200-hour Kanza Teacher Training, from anterior pelvic tilts to posterior pelvic tilts, to learning to engage the correct muscles and relaxing the muscles. From learning how to do the postures correctly and what to engage and what to relax. Reciprocal inhibition, pelvis, learning how to engage the muscles in the back of the spine and learning how to contract rectus abdominis muscles, etc. It completely changed the way I teach and how I practice. It was a life changing experience. Thanks Craig and Becca!!”
