Kanza 2025 200 Hour Graduate This was a game changer in how I teach yoga, my understanding of anatomy and the purpose and active use of Asana. Highly recommend this course for anyone’s first foundational yoga teacher training or any additional yoga training. I would loved for it to have been longer, it fueled my desire to learn more.
OVERVIEW & SUMMARY
You will learn functional anatomy and the histories and philosophies of yoga through video series lectures. You will have a schedule to follow and homework assignments to ensure you are prepared for the 6 in-person intensive weekends. However, you will have freedom to adjust your personal study and practice to suit your schedule.
You will learn to address the needs of different student populations, different class lengths and difficulties, making you a versatile and effective teacher.
You will receive personalized teaching feedback regularly, and refine your understanding and teaching over time. The benefit of the longer course is the ability to integrate the information effectively.

Kanza 2025 200 Hour Graduate Craig and Becca are kind, knowledgeable, talented and caring instructors. It was a wonderful experience! I would take more courses from Kanza Yoga.

Upon completion you will receive a certificate from Ghosh Yoga and a 200 hour certification.
You will be certified to teach yoga at the foundational level.

Kanza 2025 200 Hour Graduate I loved the enthusiasm of both teachers during this program. Their passion for yoga shined through during each weekend we all got together. It was clear they wanted us all to succeed and offered every opportunity to ask questions and dig deeper. The material was extremely comprehensive and with each teaching exercise and class presentation, I grew exponentially. I gained a comfort standing up in front of people that I did not have at the beginning of the training and I am so thankful for both Craig and Becca for helping facilitate that growth.

Kanza 2025 200 Hour Graduate I love everything about 200-hour Kanza Teacher Training, from anterior pelvic tilts to posterior pelvic tilts, to learning to engage the correct muscles and relaxing the muscles. From learning how to do the postures correctly and what to engage and what to relax. Reciprocal inhibition, pelvis, learning how to engage the muscles in the back of the spine and learning how to contract rectus abdominis muscles, etc. It completely changed the way I Teach and how I practice. It was a life changing experience. Thanks Craig and Becca!!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)
Q: How many hours per week will I spend on the training?
A: Aside from asana and pranayama practice, there is approximately 8-10 hours/ week of lecture material in the Hybrid Intensive. In the Hybrid it is approximately 4-5 hours/ week.
Q: Do I need to practice at a studio during this training?
A: No. A home practice is sufficient for this course. However, trainees can also practice at their local studio as desired.
Q: Do I need to teach in English?
A: No. The course material is given in English so a certain level of comprehension is required. However, we accept teaching homework in any language and encourage practice in the language you will teach in.
Q: Is the course recognized by Yoga Alliance?
A: Yes. This course is recognized by Yoga Alliance at the 200 Hour level.
Q: Will I be able to teach the 26+2 sequence?
A: Yes, you will have the skills necessary to teach that sequence. However, this is not a scripted/dialogue training (see next question).
Q: Is this a "dialogue" training?
A: No. We believe that understanding the purpose of the postures, practices and function of the body and mind are more important than the words you say. With proper knowledge come the right words, and they will be different in each situation for each student.
Q: Will I be able to teach after I complete this training?
A: Yes. This training is designed for those who have never taught before. Following completion of the training, you will have the skills necessary to teach a yoga class.
